I am the web and social media manager for a non-profit operating foundation focused on improving education and I can be found actively blogging there as well. The views I express on this blog, Race to the Middle, are wholly my own and do not reflect those of my employer.

This blog is my effort to represent a moderate voice in a world I believe is often motivated by extremes.

The Name “Race to the Middle” refers to one of my first blog posts about a car accident I was involved in a few years ago.  Since then I have found many other meaningful connections to the notion of racing to the center – in politics, in education and in life in general.
